New Washington State Energy Code Calculator is Live!

The Washington State University (WSU) Energy Program has officially released a new web-based Energy Code Calculator, replacing the traditional C3 Excel spreadsheet tool with a platform designed to streamline residential energy code documentation across Washington.

The energy code will continue to become more complex as we progress towards the 2030 energy conservation goals in Washington. Built to support builders, homeowners, and local building officials, the new digital compliance tool simplifies the permitting process for the Washington State Energy Code – Residential (WSEC-R) standards and provides a uniform way of reporting across jurisdictions. The new Washington State Energy Code Calculator is now live and available for immediate use.

For questions, feedback, or support regarding the calculator, please contact the WSU Energy Codes team at ep.energycode@wsu.edu
